About Ann Sheeley
A prominent litigation attorney practicing in the Rhode Island area, Ann Sheeley had a number of early career opportunities that shaped her future successes. Ann Sheeley received her Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law in White Plains, New York, but she also studied abroad for a semester, in the United Kingdom. While in the UK, Ann Sheeley interned with British Member of Parliament, David Penhaligon. Ann Sheeley assisted with constituency work, research, and the preparation of budgets presented to the House of Commons. This experience gave Ann Sheeley an alternative perspective on legal practice as an attorney in the United States. Additionally, Ann Sheeley won a number of moot court competitions during her studies. Ann Sheeley received the Best Oralist award, giving her early, firsthand experience with the techniques of litigation. After graduation, Ann Sheeley worked as an attorney for several firms in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Responsible for managing suits across several areas of civil law, Ann Sheeley cultivated her skills as a negotiator, researcher, and litigator. Because of her early experiences, Ann Sheeley has developed a creative approach to representation, involving research, problem solving, and analysis. One of the most deadly nightclub fires in U.S. history, Ann Sheeley achieved favorable results for those close to a victim. Since 2003, Ann Sheeley has held the position of Supervising Attorney at the Law Offices of Thomas Sparks in Rhode Island. Ann Sheeley continues to win accolades for her litigation work and to experience a growing business. To handle her increasing success, Ann Sheeley has decided to open her own firm, Sheeley Law, LLC, where she will focus on personal injury, criminal law, and workers’ compensation.
